 Braille Translation Software

Braille translation software converts computer text, such as that created in a word processor, to Braille code. A document prepared by a word processing program is loaded into the translation software and can be edited if necessary. Then the document is then sent to the embosser to produce a hard copy in Braille. Please note that all materials should be proofread to ensure Braille format and accuracy.

The most commonly used Braille Translation software programs are Duxbury and MegaDots.

Braille translation software is primarily used for blind students who need access to learning materials in Braille.
