Students with communication difficulties need frequent communication opportunities in order to become competent communicators. This presentation focuses on 2 communication strategies, Engineering the Environment and Aided Language Stimulation, which can be used to create a communicative environment within the classroom and build modeling and support for the student’s communication needs throughout the day.
